Kia has officially launched its flagship electric SUV, the Kia EV9, in India, marking a major step forward for the automaker in the electric vehicle (EV) market. The EV9 is available in the GT-Line AWD trim with a six-seat layout, and it is priced at ₹1.3 crore.
This electric powerhouse boasts an impressive 99.8 kWh battery that offers a range of 561 km (ARAI certified), catering to long-distance drivers and daily commuters alike. Its dual electric motors provide all-wheel-drive (AWD) capability, delivering a substantial 384 hp and 700 Nm of torque. The EV9 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.3 seconds, offering thrilling performance in addition to its luxury features.
Charging is also quick and convenient, with the capability to charge from 10% to 80% in just 24 minutes using a DC fast charger. The SUV comes equipped with 20-inch alloy wheels, giving it a rugged and premium look.
The interior is equally impressive, featuring a dual-display setup with 12.3-inch infotainment and an instrument cluster that enhances the driving experience.
